xwin sets ROOTLESS_PROTECT_ALPHA to "NO": bug?

I've always applied this patch in Xming to match the __APPLE__ case and
remind me of the truth in the code...

I've never built Xwin without the ROOTLESS_PROTECT_ALPHA code and so would
be happy to have it hard-wired in.
