I followed this page carefully. One glitch is that the "xorg" list
bounced because I was not subscribed (I think).

However, the "xorg-announce" list went through:
http://lists.x.org/archives/xorg-announce/2010-January/001241.html

The tarball has been published:
http://xorg.freedesktop.org/archive/individual/util/util-macros-1.5.0.tar.gz

Knowing that a mini-release can be done at any time, I had to release
macros before anyone uses those new macros and release the code.
