[RFC] [PATCH v2 1/12] XResource extension v1.2 implementation

Fixed patchset. This patchset now comes with the previous
implementation as well and can be applied against current HEAD.

The set includes some of Rami's work that is required for the rest of
the code. I believe that code is still under being revised, but its
external interface shouldn't change, and thus that work wouldn't
affect the other parts of this patch set.

This set doesn't fix the linking issue Tiago had with Xfbdev.
