That also includes suggesting something you want others to talk about -
we don't promise arm-twisting to force talks, but if there's interest in
topics, that can help encourage people to talk about something that they
didn't think anyone else wanted to hear about.

Also, while thinking back on the XDevConfs Sun hosted, one of the talks
that stands out in my memory was from Sun's VESA rep on new versions of
EDID and other work in progress at VESA. Is there someone we should be
inviting to talk to us like that? (Bonus points if they're going to be
in Portland around that time, either because they're local or attending
the Linux Plumbers Conference.) For instance, should we be seeing if
Intel has someone in Portland to come talk to us about USB 3.0 and what
effects it will have on input devices? (For instance, from the wikipedia
summary, I wonder if we need to have DPMS-like controls for input devices
with USB3, or adjust our code to allow for waiting for devices to wakeup.)
Or if there's someone to tell us what we could be doing better with git to
manage our couple hundred git repos?

(This is just me brainstorming out loud, not something I've discussed with
the other board members or conference organizers. I could imagine even
spending some Foundation money on travel expenses for a speaker, if there
was widespread agreement we really wanted to hear from them.)
