    Convert xlsatoms to XCB
    
    This dramatically improves latency, at the cost of a small amount of
    bandwidth.
    
    (Theoretically. In practice, it actually saves bandwidth by reducing the
    number of IP headers, Ethernet frames, PPP headers, ATM frames...)
