    More release script fixes
    
    Properly parse options.
    Generate the diff from previous to current tag instead.
    Fix URL for bz2 tarball.
    Fix targz variable to actually point to the gz tarball.
    Fix tarball releases path when scp:ing to the server.

    Move expensive checks (ssh), later in the script.
    Check for existence of the current tag.
    Minor beautification.
