I just had a discussion with Keith and he gave me a suggestion for how I
can simplify my changes. Please disregard the following sections of the
"Proposed Modifications" document (for now):

4.1 Window Tree Validation Modification
4.2 Exposure handling modification
5 Atomic mapping of top-level ovredir wins
6 Disabling the X cursor image
9.2 Emacs bug workaround

There is a good chance that these changes may not be necessary. Please
concentrate your reviewing efforts on the rest of the documentation.
