xdbedizzy is a demo of the X11 Double Buffer Extension (DBE)
creating a double buffered spinning scene.

Previous versions included code interacting with the XPrint extension
as well, but as a double buffered spinning printer spewing animated
output is one of the clearest signs of demonic possession ever seen,
that code has been exorcised from this release. Should anyone desire
to dance with that demon, the proper git incantations could be invoked
to call forth a new 1.0.x branch from the depths of the repository.

Aside from that, this release also includes assorted other work by the
X.Org janitors to scrub the build configuration and purify the code since
the 1.0.2 release in 2006. So what's for dessert?

Alan Coopersmith (7):
Add README with pointers to mailing lists, bugzilla, & git
      Remove Xprint support.
      Migrate to xorg macros 1.3 & XORG_DEFAULT_OPTIONS
config: upgrade to util-macros 1.8 for additional man page support
config: Remove unnecessary calls from configure.ac
      Purge broken CVS version tags
      xdbedizzy 1.1.0

Gaetan Nadon (5):
.gitignore: use common defaults with custom section # 24239
Makefile.am: ChangeLog not required: EXTRA_DIST or *CLEANFILES #24432
INSTALL, NEWS, README or AUTHORS files are missing/incorrect #24206
Makefile.am: add ChangeLog and INSTALL on MAINTAINERCLEANFILES
config: update AC_PREREQ statement to 2.60

James Cloos (1):
Replace static ChangeLog with dist-hook to generate from git log

Paulo Cesar Pereira de Andrade (1):
      Ansification and compile warning fixes.
