This is the first test release of the MGA driver that features support
for RandR 1.2. We now also finally support DVI outputs found on some
G450 and G550 cards. Support for Matrox' proprietary HAL module has been
removed.
Please give it a try and report any problems.
I'm especially interested in test results from users that still use
pre G-series cards (ie MGA2064W, MGA1064SG, MGA2164W).
I don't have any and so I don't have any idea why they still work with
this new code.
Tilman Sauerbeck (17):
Removed the HAL code.
Updated Makefiles for the removed files.
First stab at RandR 1.2. This will only work on G450/G550 cards.
Added output detection based on PInS data.
Fixed CRTC and output instantiation.
Only number outputs if necessary.
Added (broken) support for the second output on G550 dual-dvi.
Removed unused MGA_DH_NEEDS_HAL macro.
Removed documentation for the NoHal option.
Removed unused driver options.
Power off the panel(s) when there's no users.
Added missing libpciaccess bits.
Use pci_device_map_range() instead of pci_device_map_region().
Oops, don't access the "memory" field in struct pci_mem_region either.
Bumped version to 1.9.99.
Distribute mga_dac3026.h and mga_dacG.h
Bumped the xorg-server requirement to 1.3.
