sudo apt-get update<br>
<br>
Then:<br>
sudo apt-get -s --reinstall install xorg* xserver* plasma-desktop \<br>
kubuntu-desktop<br>
<br>
to do a dry run of what will happen, and if it looks good, remove the<br>
-s from the command and re-run it.<br>
<br>
It's a massive hammer, but it will reinstall everything related to X<br>
and plasma/kubuntu.<br>
<br>
If there's errors after it installs some stuff, run:<br>
<br>
sudo apt-get -f install<br>
<br>
and it should figure it out. You may need to do that a couple of times.<br>
