Howdy,<br><br>I have an external monitor connected to the VGA adapter on my system and am having some difficulties with this display. All the lines are what I would describe as "vibrating". This makes everything on the monitor blurry. The internal display seems to work just fine though but this monitor seems to go berserk after a few minutes and stops displaying anything. Alt-ctrl-backspace seems to be ignored at this point in time as well. This is a 2 week old Fedora Core 12 system that is "up to date" according to yum. Right now the system appears to be in a 100% system state according to xosview via a VNC session. CPU 0 is at 100%, CPU 1 is in 100% wait. Consoles are NON responsive completely, even ignoring alt-ctrl-delete as well as alt-ctrl-backspace. <br>

You might try adding radeon.new_pll=0 to the kernel command line. I'm not sure I follow what's happening next. Is the system locking up?
