I've also had a problem with the driver properly detecting supported modes with this extension cable, but have worked around it by defining modes and PreferredMode. Only now even that doesn't work. xrandr simply shows DVI-0 as disconnected. If I remove extension cable and go straight from the monitor to the DVI-0 port (via DVI --> VGA adapter which I also use with the extension) it works fine. I am attaching two log files. One from 6.10.0, where this worked, and one from 6.11.0. I have tested with an x850 and it works fine with 6.11.0 in this very machine with the same monitors. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated before I open up a bug report.
