Taking pixman-0.12.0, going through the .c, .h and .in files in the pixman directory, I extracted the following notices. Only the .c, .h and .in files have the word 'copyright' in them. I'm not setup to checkin. Could someone please put this in COPYING, which is currently empty? When two otherwise identical notices have different copyright dates and names, or differences in details about authors and previous authors, I try to combine the two notices into one. I avoided rephrasing the actual sentences of the notices even though some of them share common paragraphs and only had slight differences in terms of refering to the holders as "COPYRIGHT HOLDERS" or by actual name. So, the notices could be combined further, but I'm not a lawyer and don't know how far it is ok to go.
