Hi,

I was going through the following thread

http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/xorg/2008-June/035760.html

Here it is mentioned that GLCore module is loaded when AIGLX is disabled.Does it mean that it is not required when AIGLX is enabled?

As dar as i know GL Core module does the decoding part of X protocol message & sending the GL calls to hw_dri.so in case of AIGLX. Am i correct? Then if GL Core module is not loaded, then who does this?

Is there a difference between the way the GL calls gets encoded and decoded by the xserver when AIGLX is enabled/disabled?

Regs,
Rahaman
