Ok, so far I understand from the conversation this:

- Trac or Redmine can be replacements for Moin Moin. They have Git plugin that most people like. They have their own BTS which can be deactivated. I guess that the people with administrator account on fd.o will decide (Daniel?) in the end. Any more option?
- Is moving to a new wiki engine a prerequisite to start more serious work on the wiki pages?
- The API should be documented on man pages. There is some work left to be done on that front. Those pages can be converted to html easily if the desire to have them also online arises.
- There is already an almost complete and up to date page with information on how to build. How to build and API should have priority for the documentation team.
- dri.freedesktop.org and others dri* is dealing with DRM and Gallium. Personally having their own wiki (separated from xorg) or no, it doesn't make much difference for me, integrate?

Anyway the kind of front page I am thinking about is this (let's hope it is possible with the selected wiki engine):
http://playerstage.sourceforge.net/wiki/Gazebo

If you think something like that would be appropiate, we only need to decide about the wiki engine before Michael Verret and me can start working on sorting out the current contents of the wiki.
In the meanwhile, I guess the priority is review and complete API docs?

some libraries already use docbook-xml for the man pages, it should be a
fairly trivial task to convert that into html.
