(When I used ./autogen without --prefix it seemed to install in /usr/local which I don't think is right ...) -If I want to "start clean", what should I remove to make sure I don't have the wrong libraries, binaries, files, etc left over that would screw up my new install? -Just to confirm - I have an Asus P5E-VM HDMI motherboard, which has G35 chipset and X3500 GMA, running (otherwise) stock Kubuntu 7.10. I'm assuming xf86-video-intel 2.2.99.903 *should work* with this - am I right?
