<div><br>The X server here is configured with 24 bits depth. I am indeed trying to make a Xephyr connect to a 24 bits depth Xorg while configuring Xephyr itself to use a depth of 8 bits. For this I am using the following command only.

<br><br>I am not sure to understand what you mean. The Xorg logs you posted show<br>that the X server is configured with 24 bits depth. So does that mean you<br>are trying to make Xephyr connect to a 24 bits depth Xorg while configuring
