be honest I had the same problem with TMDS and VGA outputs. The only
other thing I can sudgest is to use PreferredMode option. Although you might
notice that according to log files it is not used but in reality it does make
a difference. Mind you on Ubuntu 7.04 after adding this option my Xserver
crashed and the only way out was to reboot the board. When I was using Kubuntu
7.10 it worked fine. I also noticed that KDE doesn't always work properly with
dual screen and intel driver. Although KDM starts fine with both screens
enabled and configured individually, as soon as KDE start the second monitor
is turned off and KDE continues working in a single screen mode. I can switch
everything back into dual mode using xrandr utility but it's a pain in a bum.
I wonder if there is a config script for KDE which you could ammend in
order to force dual screen in KDE.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

Also check check you config file by justy using Xorg - config <your

yours when I was playing with Kubuntu gutsy one VGA and one TMDS output.
For some reason when I started KDE TMDS output would be on but VGA would
be turned off. I managed to turn it back on using xranrd. For example
xranrd --output VGA --size 1024x768. Also there is crtc option which I
think specifies the pipe the output should be connectd to. So if the first
command does not bring you TV up try adding crtc=1 or
