Hi,

I've a 3 headed system with a Matrox G400 with 2 monitors (AGP) and a RIVA TNT (PCI) with 1 monitor. This system worked just fine with X 6.8.

I have upgraded to X 7.0 this weekend and I can't make the RIVA TNT work as the third head as it used to.

Changing nothing in my xorg.conf upon startup kdm login window is only partially drawn and X uses all CPU it can get.

If I disable the RIVA TNT in my ServerLayout, I get a working system (2 heads).

If I disable the Matrox in my ServerLayout, the problem remains.

If I physically remove the Matrox card and adjust my ServerLayout I get a working system (single headed).

I running Gentoo with kernel 2.6.16. I believe much more information is necessary. Please let me know which info I shall provide.

How can I get a 3 headed system in X 7.0?

Rodrigo Severo
