Debian Sid with NVidia card : Xorg cannot start...

I think that is http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=521515 
and I got around that by recompiling the Debian 2.6.29-1 i686 kernel 
myself and using that to install 96.43.11.
