I am trying to build a rather small internet device to hook to my HDTV for casual browsing and email. I got a alix 3d3 geode based board from pcengines.ch.

I installed PCLinuxOS as this is a rather weak hardware based on Geode LX running at 500MHz.

PCLinuxOS does not come with geode xorg server and is currently using fbdev driver.

I downloaded the AMDGeode driver source from here http://www.x.org/wiki/AMDGeodeDriver

however when I try to ./configure it, I get errors and I cannot seem to find the required packages in the PCLinuxOS repository. I have tried to install other distributions, however the hardware is too weak to reliably even complete installs completely.
