<div>Hi everyone,</div>
<div> </div>
<div>For the last few days i'm trying to get Xorg to use the geode driver with no success.</div>
<div>I'v tried everything i could find on the net, used every patch / config option that i could find and even tried to downgrade to previous driver versions. And yet, no luck.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>The result is always one of the following:</div>
<div>1. X starts and shows black blank screen. ps -AHf shows that kde starts and spawns child processes and etc. I cant change back to console using ALT+CTRL+Fn (I can do it only after i killall -9 X). The attached xorg.0.log and ps.txt and xorg.conf relates to this case.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>2. X fails to start (hangs..) and shows black blank screen. No child processes or any life signs. Again i cant change back to console. In this case, the last line in xorg.0.log is always </div>
<div> "(II) GEODE(0): vgaHWGetIOBase: hwp->IOBase is 0x03d0, hwp->PIOOffset is 0x0000". </div>
<div> </div>
<div> </div>
<div>More platform details:</div>
<div>* Its a panel-pc made by IEI, model AFL-07A with 7" TFT screen. </div>
<div>* Award Phoenix BIOS (i'm quite sure i cant help the BIOS version..)</div>
<div>* CPU: Geode GX 500 MHz</div>
<div>* 256 MB ram</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Attached are logs/info files that might help.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Thanks,</div>
