The bug seems to be happening often when claws-mail is being used, in general when doing operations that would require it to popup some selection box. I'm enclosing the dmesg after one of such crashes. Sometimes, the bug is serious enough to hang up the system. Other times, it affects only the X screen - e. g. switching to a console window works, but returning back to X doesn't. At X, it enters into a loop where the screen disappears for a while... then it returns to show the last image for a while and everything happens again.
