<div>Hi, i have the following problem: my video card is &#39; ATI Technologies Inc RC410 [Radeon Xpress 200M]&#39; and it worked fine with catalyst driver until ATI stopped supporting this card and i now have to use the xf86-video-ati driver. The current performance of the open source driver is good for me but i get hangs at boot time and hangs when trying to resume from sleep. Sleep is important for a laptop but booting is a top priority, i get a rate of succes of 2 in 3 tries (i can&#39;t sleep to prevent booting) so i have often to fix my HDD from errors from hard rebooting. I found no fix/work around so the last solution is to get involved in this, i have c/c++ knowledge but driver development is hard(i believe it is i never tried it). But maybe i can help testing patches or running debugging versions of the driver oand test programs to help the developers. <br>
