Fixing the remaining UMS modesetting stuff shouldn't take too long.
In the meantime you can try KMS (KMS modesetting works much better on
evergreen cards) or try and sort out the KMS vs UMS differences to fix
UMS.  Probably several months for acceleration as we are just starting
on it now.
