xf86-video-ati 6.12.x does not support KMS.  You need xf86-video-ati from git
master for KMS support.  Also your log is from UMS.  You are to running the UMS
driver when KMS has already loaded so you have a conflict there.  Either
upgrade your ddx (xf86-video-ati), or disable KMS.
