Same here with all radeon driver releases that support render accelleration
with EXA (latest I've tested is xf86-video-ati-6.12.4). The system freezes
completely, even the music stops to play.

My current setup on gentoo:
x11-base/xorg-server-1.6.3.901-r2
x11-drivers/xf86-video-ati
media-libs/mesa-7.5.1

When I switch to AccelMethod "exa" it works fine again, but with EXA the system
freezes, usually when I'm scrolling a website in firefox.
