I think I have the same problem with my Radeon Mobility 9600. The system
completely freezes, even the music stops to play. This happens sometimes when I
scroll in firefox. I don't know cairo-dock, but as the name suggests I think it
uses the cairo libs, as well as gtk+ which is used by firefox.
So it seems cairo/glitz does some things the radeon driver doesn't like.
I'd post a log of my hangs but there's nothing special in it - feel free to ask
for it if you need it anyway. ;)
