Hi! i'm the one who reported this bug to tormod volden in launchpad.. i'll be
glad to give you an hand! I'm studying Computer Science then i'm not a newbie,
but unfortunatley i'm not so skilled in coding.. eheh

I've tried the options above and none of them fix the problem.. 
i'll stay tuned,
