OK, it crashed twice today with "Virtual 1680 1050" in my Screen->Display
section.

Anything else should I try?  Should I try to capture a stack trace under gdb? 
I'm not sure if it will work since X still appears to be somewhat responsive as
the mouse still moves (slowly and very jerky).
