ASUS EAX1950 XTX Problem with SuSE and xorg-x11-driver-video-7.4-106.1 update:

Hello there!
Some days ago there i got some updates and this one for my machine (X-Server). Its changelog is
showing this:

I am receiving problems since installing this and some further updates. Before these updates
there have not been such issues. I have been contacting a person at SUSE already. I was
adviced to, please try here. So thats the intention of this E-Mail:
Systemoverview:
- This Xorg repository:"../repositories/X11:/XOrg/openSUSE_11.1/"
- This one, too: "../repositories/X11:/XGL/openSUSE_11.1/"
- KDE 4.2x Repo + suiting QT + Community ...
- ASUS EAX1950 XTX PCI-E
- Screen: HPw2408h
- SuSE 11.1 ( 32 Bit )
- Grafikdriver is "radeon"
In past i had been using driver "radeonhd" but it had bigger troubles than radeon and radeon worked
quite really good until this update so this is about "radeon"::
## Problems:
I got a IVTV (mpeg2) stream TV-card. Watching TV in Mplayer brings problems:
- I can not watch TV and for example start FooBillard at the same time. The Xserver (whole KDE) will
lockup. I am able to move the Hardwarecursor. But i can not make any other inputs anymore. No
clicking. No ACPI softbutton shutdown. Only turning the computer hard off is possible.
- On the other hand i have been trying several different videodrivers in mplayer to hopefully get
around this issue but no choice as all are bringing the freeze trouble in combination with eg.:
FooBillard. Here is a listing of results related to videodriver:
# - X11 (Normal picture -> freeze with TV and game ath same time)
# - XV (Normal picture -> freeze with TV and game ath same time)
# - xvmc (Black picture -> only sound)
# - vdapu (Black picture -> only sound)
# - gl (Very sloppy picture, sound appears like in 10 second steps?)
# - "gl (fast)" (Very sloppy picture, sound appears like in 10 second steps?)
# - "gl (fast ATI)" "same as gl fast"
# - "gl (YUV)" "same as gl fast"
# - "gl2" (Normal picture but freeze in combination with FooBillard?)
# - "gl2 (YUV)" (same as gl2)
At the moment there is no proper multitasking possible. So my solution at the moment is to not start
a game and TV at the same time.
I am using Googleearth with this drirc: (That shouldnt be a problem)?

(This was all about "radeon") until here.

I had also been writing with a person of SuSE and he adviced me to try radeonhd. I did but this
worked even worse. FooBillard locks up the Xserver immediatly.
Here is another things i found with radeonhd:
-> My screen (hpw2408h) is not detected correctly. (Modlines differ massively comparing 'radeon')
-> Chooses 1024x768 always -- but native is: (1920x1200 at 60hz)
-> X locksup instantly with FooBillard
-> Havent tryed multitasking and switched back to radeon
### About both (radeon and radeonhd)::
Can either one of both drivers be fixed? The radeon driver had worked really good also regarding
videodrivers, until this update arrived..... I appereciate your Help very much and i am looking
forward in hearing from you soon! Please fix this if you can.
