Hello

I have the exact same problem, as descripted in this bugreport.

My spec:
Asus M50SA
Ubuntu 2.6.24-19-generic #1 SMP i686 GNU/Linux
RAM: 4 GB
Radeon HD 3650 mobility 1 GB VRAM
GIT version dated 29/7-08 of libdrm/drm/dri/mesa/radeonhd


When compiled every libdrm/drm/dri/mesa and at last radeonhd, and then reboot,
I get a completely gray screen. I can hear everything loads normal, like kde 4
startup sound etc.

I attached my xorg.0.log file.
