Frustrated by the freeze in Ubuntu Hardy (current), I decided to try Fedora 8
to see if there was any difference.  In three weeks of running Fedora 8 with
Compiz enabled, I have yet to see the freeze.  The Fedora version of the driver
is also 6.8.0-1, although I have no idea if they've modified it in any way. 
Has this bug been confirmed on any distributions other than Ubuntu 7.10 and
8.04?
