Summary: Screen flickers when running OpenGL application
                    (regression?)
           Product: xorg
           Version: 7.3
          Platform: x86 (IA32)
        OS/Version: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Driver/Radeon
        AssignedTo: xorg-driver-ati at lists.x.org
        ReportedBy: zajec5 at gmail.com
         QAContact: xorg-team at lists.x.org

As long as I use desktop normally (chat, browser, konsole) everything is
*almost fine. When I start any OpenGL application (not only glxgears), screen
starts to flicker.

I've created some poor quality movie to show what happens. If better quality is
needed, please let me know. I'll borrow some video camera then.

This bug exists in 6.8.0 version. It didn't happen for me in 6.6.3.

[*] almost fine = screen flickers very rarely, once for a few minutes
