X log for ati driver from git

I have a 690G chipset with integrated Radeon X1250. X server version 1.4. I get
a blank screen (VGA monitor) with the ati (radeon) driver. RadeonHD and fglrx
drivers both work.

I have tried both driver version 6.8.0 and git (master) at 2008-04-06 (today).
I get the same result with both. Despite the fact that the X log contains lines
saying "Enable CRTC 0 success" and "Unblank CRTC 0 success" the screen is
totally dark.
