Hello,

I was wondering if the radeon driver supported the ES1000 (515E)
in 1600x1200 @ 24bpp mode. I haven't been able to get that
working; best I've been able to do is 1600x1200 @ 16bpp.

This is on Xorg 7.1.1:

--------------------------------------------------------------------
(II) Module radeon: vendor="X.Org Foundation"
        compiled for 7.1.1, module version = 4.2.0
(II) Module ati: vendor="X.Org Foundation"
        compiled for 7.1.1, module version = 6.6.3
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Is this possible?

The driver detects 32 MB of onboard memory (which seems correct
to me).

The output of lspci -v shows:

--------------------------------------------------------------------
00:03.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc ES1000 (rev 02) (prog-if 00 [VGA])
Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Unknown device 1304
Flags: bus master, stepping, medium devsel, latency 128, IRQ 255
        Memory at 80000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=128M]
        I/O ports at 1000 [size=256]
        Memory at 88020000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=64K]
Expansion ROM at 88000000 [disabled] [size=128K]
Capabilities: [50] Power Management version 2
--------------------------------------------------------------------

I've attached an Xorg.0.log, in case it provides more
information.

Thanks.
