</font></span></blockquote></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br></div>I was testing by building using mingw-cross-env, now known as mxe, on Linux. I know I've sent all the patches to Jon and the cygwin X mailing list, but I haven't kept track of how much has yet made it in.</div>

It should be pretty close to working - a "make xorg-server" will build and install all the deps (then fail to build the actual server, I expect), then you can try a cross-compile right from git using the environment it's set up.
