I have one question. I noticed the patches have been applied in reverse

Would that be because of the branch merging ? I am unfamiliar with that.<br>

It won't hurt in this case, but applying patches in the wrong order
usually makes them<br>
non bisectable.<br>

This is probably because i extracted them from the list archive in the
wrong order. My mozilla mail client had screwed up the original
patches. I'll be more careful next time.<br>
