Excellent. The key information here is that the xf86-video-nouveau
driver depends on the MIT screen saver extension. Would you be kind
enough to resubmit the patch with this information (and any other
information you deem appropriate) in the commit text? This will inform
other developers in the years to come as to why this has been added.

I don't see a problem with it then, but I have limited expertise so
other reviewers will need to ack the patch.
