[PATCH 0/2] Get the xfree86 to build on darwin

In addition to Tiago's --disable-pci branch, this small series gets the xfree86 DDX to build on darwin.  It removes a configure error with a warning and stub implementation for os-support.

The second patch is a bit ugly (and hopefully there is a better way).  It addresses an issue where ar is told to create an archive with no files.  Some versions of ar don't like to do that.
