It's fairly trivial to port solid and copy, but composite requires 3D
and not all chips support that and it's much more complex.  Plus who's
going test all those old cards?  It would probably be better to
replace XAA with shadowfb.  Given the current state of XAA, it would
probably perform as well or better.
