Feature request

[James Cloos]

Window managers can set a useable area via the _WIN_WORKAREA and
_NET_WORKAREA properties on the root window.

You should be able to set those to cover just the part of the display
which can be seen.

This may require patching whichever window manager you use, but it
should not require changes in the X server itself.
